Various marketing teams worked with a roster of over 10 print suppliers and over 20 creative agencies. This made it difficult to achieve central cost control, meaning visibility and accountability on print spend was a massive issue.
As a result, GR sought a print provider to manage these relationships and one who would complement its sustainability and corporate social responsibility credentials. Impressed by our track record in print and focus on sustainable printing, GR awarded Oasis the contract and we got to work on some projects
We took complete control of the implementation, including an extensive review of current briefing, quoting and billing processes to identify where the gaps were. We organised a meeting with the general managers of each brand within the group and established a relationship and received feedback on best-practice ways of working.
By sourcing local suppliers and reducing delivery miles, we helped GR reduce overall carbon emissions and achieve its objectives.
The most important benefit for GR was the installation of a central control point for print spend. Issues are quickly resolved and a full audit trail is maintained, including purchase orders, quote sign-offs and job details. The bottom line - we've been able to cut print spend costs.
